Propagation delay is nothing but the time that it takes for a bit to reach from one end of a link to the other. The delay depends on the distance (D) between the sender and the receiver, and the propagation speed…

to communicate the devices we need to transfer the data from one device to the other. and to understand how this data is transferred we have to take a look at HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) and HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure).

So let’s dive in and understand these two concepts…

on-premise and off-premise are the two types of hosting architecture.

What is Computer Networking:

Computer Networking is the interconnection between devices like computers, servers, network devices, etc. The main motive of computer networking is to share the data from one location to another. Computer Networking is classified into following main types.

1)Local Area Network (LAN)

LAN is a network contained within a small geographic area. eg. mobile hotspot and wifi, small businesses use LAN to connect their Computers.

2)Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)

MAN covers area more than LAN and Less than WAN. main disadvantage is it more expensive.

3)Wide Area Network (WAN)

WAN covers Wide area as compare to LAN and MAN. WAN spans wide geographical area.

WAN connects LAN’s of Cities, States and contries.

Note: Every LAN may or may not be with WAN, but Every WAN will always be with LAN
